COULD YOU RUN AN ARTS PROGRAMME IN A PRISON?
Escape Artists is offering a number of short courses, lasting from one day to six days, for people who wish to learn more about how the arts can be used in prisons and with challenging young people. These range from introductory hands-on workshops to specialist programmes for more experienced practitioners. For those that already have experience of working with the arts in the criminal justice sector or with challenging young people, but who are looking to extend their skills, we suggest that the following courses could be of interest:

Arts with Challenging Young People (six days over six weeks)

If your particular interest is in working through the arts with people with disabilities, then this workshop should appeal to you. The workshop addresses the challenges involved in working through words and music with severely disabled people, and demonstrates how the latest technology can provide exciting new opportunities for creative expression.
