PUT IT DOWN! You can see edited highlights from Put it Down! by following this link. Put it Down! was staged in July 2006 at the Jackson's Lane Theatre in Highgate. It was created with clients of the London Probation Service in partnership with Insight Arts. Put it Down! can be recreated for your client group in order to incorporate local concerns and young people's views.
The performance was part of the Arts Against Guns and Knives Festival at the Jackson's Lane Theatre where it was presented to an audience of young people from the local area. Read the Muswell Hill Times news article on the Arts Against Guns and Knives Festival . If you would like to know more about Put it Down! and how it could work with the young people in your care, please contact Megan Bunting megan@escapeartists.co.uk at Escape Artists on 01223 245945 or Matthew Taylor on the same number. Put it Down! can be delivered as part of an OCN accredited learning programme covering subjects such as literacy, numeracy, music and drama. Please visit the Escape Artists website to find out more.
